It often requires changes to behaviour and habits which can be very difficult to make alone, especially when trying to fit changes into an already busy lifestyle. Even something as simple as going to bed earlier can be a real challenge when facing so many daily demands.
Starting out with great intentions is only the first step to success. Many of us need help and encouragement to continue making progress. Functional Medicine Health Coaching can give you a fresh perspective on what you can achieve and gives you a road map of how to do it. For example, if you want to make changes but are hindered by lack of time, coaching is an excellent tool for helping you to find your own workable solution and remove barriers to success. It can help you to be more effective in achieving your goals.
I work with you to help you achieve your health goals whatever they be, whether it is to get going with a new dietary plan, reduce stress, regain better work life balance or changing your diet/coping with a new eating plan. Whatever it is, I will be working with you, supporting you every step of the way. My approach is forward looking, focused on what is going well for you, rather than dwelling on the past and things that may not have worked. You will decide what you want to prioritise, whether it be implementing a dietary plan, reducing stress at home or work, or feeling you are not making progress towards a specific goal such as weight loss, or improving fitness.
I can offer coaching sessions, either in person or via skype/zoom. The initial session is 45 mins and following sessions are 30 minutes. If I am just working with you on coaching alone, then I find it works better to embark on a longer-term arrangement, so I offer packages of either 5 or 10 sessions.
Rachel is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach so can provide you with nutritional and dietary support and also guide you through the process. Sometimes we need a little extra support to make dietary changes and also put in place lifestyle changes. Maybe you feel stuck and tired and know that you just aren't functioning as well as you used to, but the thought of changes seems overwhelming.
